Step-by-step explanation:

(5 {x}^{2} +3x−7)(x−1)− \\ (2 {x}^{2} +3x−4)(2x−3) \\ \\ x(5 {x}^{2} + 3x - 7) - 1(5 {x}^{2} + 3x - 7) - \\ (2x(2 {x}^{2} +3x−4) - 3(2 {x}^{2} +3x−4)) \\ \\ 5 {x}^{3} + 3 {x}^{2} - 7x - 5 {x}^{2} - 3x + 7 - \\ (4 {x}^{3} + 6 {x}^{2} - 8x - 6 {x}^{2} - 9x + 12) \\ \\ 5 {x}^{3} - 2 {x}^{2} - 10x + 7 - \\ (4 {x}^{3} - 17x + 12) \\ \\ {x}^{3} - 2 {x}^{2} + 7x - 5

Question :

Simplify

\sf\:(5x^2+3x-7)(x-1)-(2x^2+3x-4)(2x-3)

Solution :

We have to Simplify

\rm\:(5x^2+3x-7)(x-1)-(2x^2+3x-4)(2x-3)

Let's solve the problem :

\sf\:(5x^2+3x-7)(x-1)-(2x^2+3x-4)(2x-3)

\sf=[x(5x^2+3x-7)-1(5x^2+3x-7)]-[2x(2x^2+3x-4)-3(2x^2+3x-4)]

\sf=[(5x^3+3x^2-7x-5x^2-3x+7)]-[(4x^3+6x^2-8x-6x^2-9x+12)]

\sf=5x^3+3x^2-7x-5x^2-3x+7-4x^3-6x^2+8x+6x^2+9x-12

Now Rearrange the terms

\sf=x^3(5-4)+x^2(3-5-6+6)+x(-7-3+8+9)+7-12

\sf=x^3(1)+x^2(-2)+x(7)-5

\sf=x^3-2x^2+7x-5

It is the required solution !
