Answer:

2y-5x=18

multiply 2 to this eqn.then its becomes

4y-10x=36

7y+10x=8 now add these two eqn.

4y+7y-10x+10x=36+8

11y= 44

y=5

then apply this value in any eqn.

7y+10x=8

x=8-7y/10

x=8-35/10

x=-27/10

i hope u got that

mark this as brainliest ans if u got that

7y + 10x = 8......(1)

2y - 5x = 18.......(2)

By using Elimination method

multiply 2 by equation...(2)

we get,

 => 4y - 10x = 36

Now equating the coefficient;

7y+10x=8

4y-10x=36

11y =44

= 11y=44

= y=4

put \: the \: value \: of \: y \: in \: equation \: (1)

 = 7y + 10x = 8

 = 7(4) + 10x = 8

 = 28 + 10x = 8

 = 10x = 8 - 28

 = 10x =  - 20

 = x =  - 2

the \: value \: of \: x =  - 2 \: and \:  \\ value \: of \: y = 4

<marquee> hope it help you
