Sam is making beaded necklaces using 63 glass beads and 72 clay beads. He wants to have the same number of beads in each necklace but each necklace will have only one kind of bead. If she puts the greatest possible number of beads on each necklace how many necklaces will she make?

total no. of glass beads = 63

63÷9=7

so Sam can make 9 necklaces if he uses only 7 beads in each

Total no. of clay beads= 72

72÷9=8

He can make 9 necklaces of clay bead using only 8 beads in each.
