ANSWER: SAM CAN MAKE 15 CAKES WITH 9 CUPS OF SUGAR.

Total Amount of sugar = 9 cups.

TO FIND:

SOLUTION:

We can simply solve the above the problem as under;

if, 3/5 cups of sugar bakes 1 cake

so, 1 cup of sugar will bake,. 1 ÷ 3/5

or,. 1/3 × 5

= 5/3.
