rate per dozen = $375
tot. no. of dozens = 20

now ,
rate of one toy = 375/ 12 ....... ( here 12 is for a dozen)
= > 31.25 Rs.

Now , given SELLING PRICE = $ 33

PROFIT = ( selling price - buying price)
= 33 - 31.25
= 1.75

Now ,

PROFIT % = 1.75/ 31.25 × 100 = 5.6 %.........ANS

Sam purchase 20 dozens of toys at the rate of 375 per dozen
cost of 1 dozen of toys =375
cost of 20 dozens of toys =375×20
=7500
now
in which cost Sam sold 1 toy=33
so cost of 12 toys =33×12
and cost of 20 dozens of toys=33×12×20
=7920
total profit=7920-7500
=420
percentage of profit=420×100/7920
=0.05×100
=5% (approximately)
