(a) The least value of the degree of the polynomial :-

- Total 5 points .
therefore, the least value of the degree of the polynomial is 5 .
(b) Can the polynomial p(x) be a quadratic polynomial :-
- since the degree of the given polynomial is 5 and we know that, for a quadratic polynomial the highest degree is 2 . Therefore, we can conclude that the given polynomial is not a quadratic polynomial .
(c) The zeroes of the polynomial p(x) are :-
- Abscissa of y = 0 .
- 5 zeros are = (-4) , (-3), (-1), 2 and 4 .
