Answer:

A: Their home is 1 mile from school.

Explanation:

I don't really know how I got this, but I used process of elimination to get the answer. I came across this question on i-Ready Math (level H).

To confirm, the question was "Sam walks to school. Her brother Shawn leaves home a little later and rides his bike. They arrive the same time. How far is their home from school?"

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Choices:
A: Their home is 1 mile from school.
B: Their home is 1 1/4 mile from school.
C: Not enough information...
D: Their home is 1/2 mile from school.
-------------------------------------------------------
I knew it couldn't be C because i-Ready rarely does "not enough information" as an answer. It couldn't be D because 1/2 mile is too short. It was either A or B... I chose A because 1 miles is so common when you're traveling in different areas.
Well, that's all and I hope this answer helps you in many different ways. I hope you continue succeeding on your math skills and have a fantastic day!!! :)
Can you answer my question? How can you change your username. Thanks a lot! :)
