Samay was going on a ship with his family for a vacation. He was told by an engineer that the base of the ship and lower parts are made of iron. Samay is worried as these parts are always dipped in water and they may get rusted. But the engineer said that they do not rust so easily and quickly. Can you suggest a reason for the same?

Answer:

This point would have been thought by the engineer before building the ship...

However the iron parts would have been galvanized.

Galvanization: Galvanization is the process of applying a protective zinc coating to iron or steel, to prevent rusting.

HOPE IT HELPED YOU!!
