Answer:

profit by ₹1920

Step-by-step explanation:

he bought 12 sunglasses for 9600

so one glass for \frac{9600}{12}

                = ₹800

∵ Sameer bought one sunglass for ₹800

Now,

he sold one glass for ₹960

so, for 12 sunglasses

960 × 12

= 11520

He sold 12 sunglasses for ₹11520

∴ He made profit. And a profit of ₹1920

Answer:

Profit = Rs.1920

Step-by-step explanation:

We know that,

Sameer bought 12 sunglasses for Rs.9600

So,

C.P for 12 sunglasses = Rs.9600

Also,

He sold them for Rs.960 each,

S.P for 1 sunglass = Rs.960

S.P for 12 sunglasses = 12 × 960

S.P for 12 sunglasses = Rs.11,520

This conversion is very important as S.P and C.P can only be compared if they are the prices of the same Quantities.

Now,

Profit is when S.P > C.P

Loss is when S.P < C.P

Here,

11,520 > 9600

S.P > C.P

So, it was a Profit.

Now,

Profit = S.P - C.P

P = 11520 - 9600

P = Rs.1920

Hence,

Profit = Rs.1920

Hope it helped and believing you understood it....All the best
