ANSWER

____________☘︎___________

Given :-

  • Sameer bought 35 burgers. And each burger coast rupees 54.

  • He bought 28 cakefloats. And each cake floats cost rupees 27.

  • He paid a sum of rupees 3000 to the shopkeeper.

To Find :-

whether he needs to pay more or how much will he get back?

Solution :-

  • Total price of burgers :

=> No. of burgers × Cost of one burger

=> 35 × 54

=> \boxed{1890}

  • Total price of cake floats :

=> No of cake floats × Cost of one cakefloats

=> 28 × 27

=> \boxed{756}

  • Total Sum of money :

=> Total price of cake floats + Total price of burgers

=> 756 + 1890

=> \boxed{2646}

So , Sameer bought items at total price of rupees 2646. And he paid rupees 3000

Hence , its clear that he will get money back from shopkeeper [as 2646 < 3000]

  • So the money returned to him :-

=> 3000 - 2646

=> \boxed{354}

Therefore , the shopkeeper will return rupees 354.
