Given,

The height of Samuel is = 4⅙ feet

The height of his dad is = 5¾ feet

To find,

The difference between the heights of Samuel's dad and Samuel.

Solution,

First of all, we have to simplify the heights of both Samuel and his father.

Height of samuel = 4⅙ feet = 25/6 feet

Height of Samuel's dad = 5¾ feet = 23/4 feet

Difference = 23/4 - 25/6 = 69-50/12 = 19/12 = 1 7/12 feet

(The given values are in fractional form, that's why we will be maintaining the fractional form in the final answer too.)

Hence, his dad is 1 7/12 feet taller than him.
