Sana eats 2/3 of a pizza, manna eats 4/5 of the pizza. Who eats more?

✍️{\huge{\purple{\mathfrak{\underline{\underline{To\ find}}}}}}✍️

  • Who eats more?
  • Means
  • Which is greater \frac{2}{3}or\frac{4}{5}

✍️{\huge{\purple{\mathfrak{\underline{\underline{Solution}}}}}}✍️

Firstly;

Find the L.C.M. of denominator so, that we can same the denominators and easily found that which one is greater...

So,L.C.M. of 3 and 5 is 15

Now,same the denominator of both terms with L.C.M., by multiplying;

\frac{2}{3}×\frac{5}{5}=\frac{10}{15}

\frac{4}{5}×\frac{3}{3}=\frac{12}{15}

Here, We can see that \frac{12}{15} is greater than \frac{10}{15}

So,

\frac{4}{5} is greater than \frac{2}{3}

As, Manna eats the \frac{4}{5} of pizza.

{\pink{So,Manna\ eats\ more}}
