Sana put a few chalk pieces in water and noticed that they settle at the bottom. She then crushed some chalk pieces and mixed the powder in water. Will the powdered chalk dissolve in water? Give a reason for your answer.

Answer: the chalk powder will not dissolve completely in water.

It settles down and it can be seen with our naked eyes...

this is also the reason why this is an example of suspension
