let x be the cost price of the TV I.e. the cost at which sandeep bought it.
(x + (6℅ of x)) - (x - (8℅ of x)) = 3360
thus 14℅ of x = 3360
14x/100 = 3360
thus x = 3360*100/14 = 24000
(x + (6℅ of x)) - (x - (8℅ of x)) = 3360
thus 14℅ of x = 3360
14x/100 = 3360
thus x = 3360*100/14 = 24000
