Step-by-step explanation:

Let the C.P be x

Now if loss = 8%

S.P =

\frac{C.P(100 - l\%)}{100}  \\  =  \frac{x(100 - 8)}{100}  \\  = \frac{92x}{100} \\

If Profit% =6

SP =

\frac{C.P(100  + p\%)}{100}  \\  = \frac{x(100 + 6)}{100} \\  =  \frac{106x}{100}

Now according to the question,

\frac{106x}{100}  -  \frac{92}{100}  = 3360 \\  =  >  \frac{14x}{100}  = 3360 \\  =  > x =  \frac{3360 \times 100}{14}  \\  =  > x = 24000

Thus, Sandeep has bought it for Rs 24000
