Sandhya wishes to multiply a two-digit no. and three digit no. but by mistake, she left out the multiplication sign and simply placed the two-digit no. to the left of the three-digit no. thereby making a five-digit no. But this no. happens to be exactly nine times the product that Sandhya should have obtained by original multiplication. Find the difference b/w the three-digit no. and two-digit no.?

Also give a math fact too.
THANKS!!☺

Let nos be 10X + Y, so the number is written as XY

for example, If it is 25, it is 10×2 + 5.

so our equation formed is

10X + Y + 27 = 10Y + X

9X + 27 = 9Y

X + 3 = Y

now the upper limit for a digit of a number is 9.

Y------X

9 6

8 5

7 4

6 3

5 2

4 1

We cant take X = 0 because if we did it wont be a 2 digit number.

So the numbers are

14

25

36

47

58
