Answer:

 \green{profit = 12\%}

Step-by-step explanation:

total cp = 6000+250=6250

profit= 7000-6250= 750

Profit% = profit/cp×100

profit%= 750/6250 × 100 = 12%

Question:

Sandra bought a mobile phone for ₹ 6000. she spent ₹ 250 on it's repair she sold it for ₹ 7000. Find her profit per cent.

Answer:

Her profit is 13.5%.

Given:

C.P. of the phone is ₹ 6000.

Expenditure on the phone is ₹ 250.

S.P. of the phone is ₹ 7000

To find:

Her profit percent.

Explanation:

C.P. is ₹ 6000.

Expenditure on the phone is ₹ 250.

Total expenditure = ₹(6000+250)

                              = ₹ 6250.

S.P. of the phone is ₹ 7000.

∴ Profit = ₹(7000-6250)

            = ₹ 750.

∴ Profit % = (\frac{750}{6000} × 100)

               = (750/60) [∵  Dividing 6000 and 100 by 100.]

               =(25/2) [ ∵ Dividing 750 and 60 by  30.]

               = 13.5 %

∴ Her profit is 13.5%.
