Answer:

Sandra had 2000 gm (2kg) flour at first

Step-by-step explanation:

Suppose total flour = 100gm

Quantity of flour used for pizza = 15gm

Quantity of flour used for cookies = 34gm

Total quantity of used flour = 15gm + 34gm = 49gm

Remaining flour = 51gm

Let's remove 15% (15gm suppose) flour as Shown as question

51 - 15 = 36gm

When remaining quantity is 36 gm then total quantity 100gm

When remaining 720gm then how much is total quantity

Suppose

Sandra had x flour at first

⇒ 100gm = 36gm

⇒ x = 720

Cross multiplication :

⇒ 36x = 720 × 100

⇒ 36x = 72000

⇒ x = 72000 / 36

⇒ x = 2000

⇒ x = 2000 gm (2kg)

.°. Sandra had 2000 gm (2kg) flour at first

Answer:

Sandra has 2000gr of flour at first.

Step by step Explanation:

Let Sandra have x gram of flour at first.

15% of x = used for making pizza.

34% of x = used for baking cookies.

Total percentage of flour used

= 15 + 34 = 49%

Remaining flour percentage

= 100 - 49 = 51%

As per question, after removing 15% flour from remaining flour

= 51 - 15 = 36%

So, 720g is 36% of x kg.

Therefore,

\implies36% of x is 720

\implies36 × 1/100 × x = 720

\impliesx = 72000/36

\impliesx = 2000gr. Or 2 kg

\implies sandra has 2000gr of flour at first.
