Radha's age=x
Sandy's age=5+3x
Sum of ages=65
   x+5+3x=65
   4x=65-5
   x=60/4
   x=15
Radha's age=x=15
Sandy's age=5+3x=5+3*15=50

let
radha's age= y
sandy's age=5+3y
sum of ages=65
⇒   y+5+3y=65
 ⇒  4y=65-5
 ⇒  y=60/4
 ⇒  y=15
∴ Radha's age=15

Sandy's age=5+3y
⇒ 5+3*15=50
∴ Sandy's age= 50
