Answer:

surface area of lantern = 2*(15*13 + 13*28 + 28*15) =

                                      =  1958 sq.cm

if a sheet is 14 sq.cm, number of required sheets to cover the lantern = 1958/14 = 140

cost of covering of the lantern = 140*15 = Rs.2,100

Answer

answer is 1680

Step by step explanation

Lateral area of a cuboid =2lh + 2 bh

=2(l + b)×h

=2(15+13)×28

=1568

Area of a sheet = 14 cm²

Total area = Lateral area of a cuboid ÷ Area of a sheet

=1568 ÷ 14 cm²

= 112 cm²

Cost of each 14 cm² sheet = ₹ 15

Cost of each 112 cm² sheet = ₹ 112 ×15

= ₹ 1680
