A. Read the passage given below.

Like human beings, animals to communicate with each other. When a rabbit sees an enemy. It runs away. Its

white bushy tail bobs up and down. The other rabbits seeing the white tail bobbing up and down run too.

When a cobra is angry, it raises its hood. This frightens and warns the other Animals. When a bee has found

some Food, it goes back to the hive. It does a kind of dance in the air which tells the other bees where the

food is. Some animals say things by making Sounds. A dog barks when a stranger comes near. Comes near. It

wag its tail in joy. Some birds make several different Kinds of meaningful sounds. Sometimes, Human beings

make different sounds like oh” or Ah’ when they are excited or pleased. But human beings have something

that no animal has, the wonderful gift of language. We express our thoughts innumerable words. We can keep

a record of incidents or send messages to people for away, we can compose beautiful poems, songs, plays.

And stories in the form of words which animals cannot. So compared to animals, human being shave for more

powerful ways of communication than animals.
