Sanjana travels 660km partly by train and partly by car. If she covers 300 km by train and the rest by car it takes 13.5 hr . But, if she travels 360km by train and the rest by car, she takes 30 mins longer . find the time taken by sanjana if she travels 660 km by car(in hrs)

let speed of train =x and speed of car =y
you also know time=distance/speed
use this concept
now
300/x+360/y=13.5 ----------(1)
360/x+300/y=14 -------------(2)
now solve both equation
we find y=60km/h
hence
sanjana travels 660km by car =660/60=11 hours
