Answer:

according to question Sanjay borrows a sum of Rs. 10000 from a bank at 6% simple interest per annum for a period of 3 years.

To find : interest he paid

we have : P = Rs 10000        R = 6%           T = 3 years

formula for S.I :

S.I = P x R x T / 100

    = 10000 x 6 x 3 / 100

     = 180000 / 100

     = 1800

therefore , interest paid by Sanjay at the end of 3 years is Rs 1800.

Given,

Sanjay barrows a sum of rupees 10000 from a bank at 6% simple interest per annum for a period of 3 years.

From the given information,

Principal =10000, Rate =6%, Time period = 3years

Formula,

Simple interest =\frac{PTR}{100}

Substitute given values in the formula, we get simple interest.

Simple interest =\frac{10000\times6\times3}{100}

Simple interest = 1800

Therefore, 1800 rupees he pay at the end of 3 years.
