sanjay had a rope. he used 1/4 of it to tie some boxes together. he then used 5/9 of the remainder to make a skipping rope for his daughter. 120 cm of rope was left. what was the length of rope used to tie the boxes together?

=>x/4+5/9*3x/4+120=x

=>x/4+5x/12+120 =x

=>8x/12+120=x

=>360 =x

Length= 360cm
