Answer:

90 m

Step-by-step explanation:

Suppose the length of the rope is : x

And then Sanjay uses 1/4 of the rope to tie the boxes =x/4

Rope left after tieing the boxes = x- x/4=3x/4

5/9 part used to make a skipping rope =

3x/4*5/9 =15x/36=5x/12

The rope which finally left = 3x/4 - 5x/12= 4x/12= x/3 =120 m

Since, x/3 =120 m

x=120*3 m

Therfore, x=360 m

The length of the rope used to tie the boxes = x/4 = 360/4 = 90 m

Let the length of the rope be x

Rope used by Sanjay to tie boxes = 1/4

Remaining = 1 - 1/4 = 3/4

Rope used for making a skipping rope = 5/9 of the remainder

= 3/4 × 5/9

=5/12

Total used = 1/4 + 5/12

=8/12

ATQ ,

1/3 = 1200

120 × 3 = 360

360 ÷ 4 = 90
