Calculate the rent at Neelgiri apartments.

Rent for the first two months is 20% off.

One bedroom rate is Rs 6000 per month.

Total rent after 2 months = Rs 6000 × 2 = Rs 12000

Rent off

= Rs 12000 × 20/100

= Rs 240O

After rent off the chargge

= Rs 12000 - Rs 240O

= Rs 9600

Calculate the rent at Savana apartments.

The first month is 50% oft.

One bedroom rate is Rs 7000 per month.

Rent off in first month

= Rs 7000 × 50/100

= Rs 3500

So rent charge after 2 months

= Rs 7000 + Rs 3500

= Rs 10500

Now determine which apartment will be cheaper for the first two months and by how much.

At Neelgiri apartments, Rent for the two months = Rs 9600

At Savana apartments, Rent for the two months = Rs 10500

So, Neelgiri apartments will be cheaper for the first two months

The difference

= Rs 10500 - Rs 9600

= Rs 900

Hence Neelgiri apartments will be cheaper for the first two months by Rs 900.
