original cost of scooter = ₹9800

money spent on repairing = ₹600

new cost of scooter = ₹9800 + ₹600

= ₹10400

Find the profit :
--------------------

profit earned = 8 % = 8% of 10400

= 0.08 × 10400 = ₹832

Find the selling price:
-----------------------------

selling price = new cost + profit

selling price = ₹10400 + ₹832 = ₹11232

therefore ,

selling price of scooter = ₹11232

gain= ₹832

Answer : s.p = ₹11232 , gain = ₹832

\bf{Given \: :}
C.P = ₹ 9800
Cost for repair = ₹ 600
So,
Total C.P = ₹ (9800+600) = ₹ 10400

Profit % = 8%

.

\bf{We\: know \:that, }

S.P = C.P \times ( \frac{100 + Profit\%}{100} ) \\ \\ S.P= 10400 \times ( \frac{100 + 8}{100} ) \\ \\ S.P = 10400 \times \frac{108}{100} \\ \\ S.P = 11232

Therefore, Selling Price (S.P) = ₹ 11232.

\bf{Now, }
\bf{We\: know \:that, }

Profit = \frac{Profit\% \times cp}{100 } \\ \\ Profit = \frac{8 \times 10400}{100} \\ \\ Profit = 832

Therefore, Profit = ₹ 832.
