Details of a square shape :

Square is a quadrilateral figure with four equal sides and each angle is right angled. Two of the diagonals are equal in length.

Some formulas :

If a units be the length of each side, its

  • perimeter be = 4a units and

  • area be = a² unit²

Solution :

Given that, the length of each side of the square park is 120 m

So, its perimeter be

  = 4 * 120 m

  = 480 m

Thus, Sanju completes 480 m in a round of the square park

Hence, in 12 rounds daily, Sanju covers

  = 12 * 480 m

  = 5760 m

  = ( 5760 ÷ 1000 ) km

  = 5.76 km
