Step-by-step explanation:

profit on 1 kg of pomegranates=11rs

profit on 75 kg of pomegranates=75*11=7825

loss on 1kg of orange=8rs

loss on 100kg of oranges =100*8=800rs

profit is greater than loss so shankar will get profit

over all profit=825-800=25rs

Given:

A fruit vendor sells 100 kg of oranges and

75 kgs of pomegranates.

Profit made from 1 kg of pomegranates = Rs 11

The loss made from  1 kg of orange = Rs 8

To find :

The overall profit or loss for fruit vendor.

Solution:

A fruit vendor sells 75 kg of pomegranates.

He makes a profit is Rs 11 per one kg of pomegranates .

Therefore, the profit of 75 kg of pomegranates is 75 × 11 = 825

Profit of a fruit vendor = 825

A fruit vendor sells 100 kg of orange.

He losses Rs 8 per one kg of orange .

Therefore, the profit of 100kg of orange is 100 × 8 = 800

Loss of a fruit vendor = 800

Profit is greater than loss.

Overall profit is , 825 - 800 = 25

Therefore, the overall profit of a fruit vendor Sankar is Rs 25

Final answer:

The overall profit got by a fruit vendor Sankar is Rs 25.
