Santhals of jharkhand are protesting against britishers from beginning of its rule
In 1855-1856 there was a huge revolt in which Santhals started looking and killing the zamindars and moneylenders.The santhals declared that British rule had come to an end .they wanted to make a free state of Santhals. birthday I am lonely with bows and arrows and were not strong enough to stand against the gun bearing British army .
by the end of a fierce battle 15000 santhals were killed and the Revolt was finally suppressed .
