Answer:
Power of Courage and Determination
The invincible power of courage, grit and determination can help anyone accomplish anything one wishes to do, be or have. All great achievers in the history of the world tapped this power.
Santosh Yadav and Maria Sharapova also tapped this power. Santosh Yadav, though born in an orthodox Indian family, she was able to influence her parents through her determination to educate herself and to follow her dreams. She showed this determination when she told her family members that she would definitely educate herself even if she had to work part-time.
Secondly, she also showed her determination when after her exams she went to Uttarkashi to join mountaineering training camp. She used this determination to learn mountaineering skills. No wonder owing to this power of determination and courage she could climb Mt. Everest twice. The Indian Government conferred the Padmashri on her for her exemplary qualities.
Maria Sharapova also had to make many sacrifices to achieve success in tennis. Maria paid the price in the form of loss of her mother’s love at the tender age of 10. Her father, Yuri took her to America for tennis training; unfortunately, her mother, Yelena had to stay back in Siberia because she was not issued visa. Even in America, she had to face lots of challenges. But Maria Sharapova paid the price and emerged as a tennis star when she won the Wimbledon women’s crown in 2004.
