Sanvi purchased some books for Rs. 120. if she purchased 3 more books for the same amount each books would have cost her Rs. 2 less. Find the number of books purchased by Sanvi and the price of each books.

(120)/(x+3) = (120/x) - (2)

So if we solve it,

x = 12 or x = -15, but books can not be negative, therefore it will be 12. She purchased 12 books and if we divide 120/12, we get 10. So she purchased 12 books and spent 10 Rs per book.
