Given Sara has 400 marbles.

Number of marbles Sara gives to Sam = \frac{1}{5}0f 400=80 marbles.

Number of marbles Sam has = 80.

Number of marbles Sam gives to David=\frac{3}{4} of 80=60 marbles.

Number of marbles left with Sam =  80-60=20 .

Sam has 20 marbles left.
