Sara has = 400 marbles
Sara gives marbles to sam. = 1/5th
sam have marbles. = ?

400 \times 1 \div 5 = x \\ 80 =  x
There fore sam has 80 marbles
sam give marbles to David. =3/4 th

y = 3 \div 4 \times 8 \\ y = 60
sam gave marbles to David = 60marbles
sam have remaining marbles=

sam first have marbles- sam given marbles
80 - 60 = 20

Answer:

20

Step-by-step explanation:

sara has=400morbles

sara gives to Sam 1/5=(1/5)×400=80

Sam gives to David 3/4=(3/4)×80=60
