sara wants to celebrate her birthday and plans a big party. She wants a 3 tier cake as shown in the figure. The bottom part of the cake is cylindrical with diameter 30 cm. Middle part is a cube with edge 20 cm and the top part is again cylindrical of radius 7.5 cm. The cake has to be packed in a cardboard box. The height of each cylindrical cake is equal to its diameter.

What should be the height of the box needed to pack the cake, leaving a gap of 0.5 cm from the top so that the lid of the box does not touch the top of the cake.

Sara now wants the bottom cake to be covered with chocolate syrup.
How much area will be covered with chocolate syrup?

What is the volume of the middle most part of the cake.

Sara now wants to stick circular colourful chocolate buttons each of radius 0.5 cm on the top most cake as shown in the picture

r. = 30cm , h = 30cm

a = 20cm

R = 7.5 * 2 = 15cm

height of the box = 30+20+15+0.5

= 65.5 cm

Area to be covered = πr^² + 2πrh

= 22/7*15*15 + 2*22/7*15*30

= 22/7*225 + 44*450/7

= 4950/7 + 19800/7

= 24750/7

= 3535.71 cm^2

Volume of middle part = a^3

= 20*20*20

= 8000 cm^3

(Sorry I won't be able to answer the 4th part as it's not clear what exactly is to be done.)
