Sara wants to dye her hair in various colours, she dye 1/3 of it blue, 1/4 pink and 1/4 black. How much of her original colour is left undyed?

Here it is given that,

Sara's hair is

1/3 blue

1/4 pink

and 1/4 black

Now if we consider her total hair, it would be whole part and is equal to 1.

So to find the undyed part,

We need to subtract the colored part from the whole part.

ie,

Undyed part = total part - colored part

=1-((1/3)+(1/4)+(1/4))

=1-((1/3)+(2/4) )

=1-((1/3)+(1/2) )

=1-(5/6)

=1/6

Therefore,

1/6 of Sara's hair is left undyed.
