=x^2-7x/2+49/16=-24+49/16

=(x+7/4)^2=25/16

Taking square roots

x+7/4=±5/4

Therefore,x=5/4-7/4

=-2/4

=-2

Or x=-5/4-7/4

=-12/4

=-3
