Answer:

₹ 8428.57

Step-by-step explanation:

Let Sarika's salary be x.

Amount she spends = 65% of x = x * 65/100 = 0.65 x

Amount she saves = x - 0.65 x = (1 - 0.65) x = 0.35 x

According to the question,

Amount she saves = ₹ 2950.

0.35 x = 2950

x = 2950 / 0.35

x = ₹ 8428.57

So, Sarika's salary is ₹ 8428.57

Let Annual salary = a

Salary she spends  = 65%

                                 = ( 100 - 65)

Salary she saves     =  35%

Given Salary she saves = 2490

                    35/100 * a  = 2490

On cross multiplication, we get

   a = 2940 * 100/35

      = 8400

Her Annual Salary = 8400 rupees.

Hope this helps!
