Sarina's mother is suffering from jaundice. She is on leave from her work for about a month. Is jaundice an acute or chronic disease? Justify your answer.

Jaundice is a chronic disease that impacts the whole body and takes a longer time to be cured completely. The complications of jaundice include a) high fever, joint pains, and headache b) nausea, vomiting, and abdominal pain c) rashes and itchiness. As a result, jaundice leads to a poor health condition and damage liver function of an individual.
