Given :

Marked price of Saree = Rs 3200

Discount = 15%

Profit = 14%

Find the Selling price of Saree :-

S.P = M.P - discount % of M.P

= 3200 - 15% of 3200

= 3200 - 0.15 × 3200

= 3200 - 480

= 2720

Find the cost price of Saree at 14% profit :-

C.P = (S.P × 100)/(100 + Profit)

= (2720 × 100)/(100 + 14)

= 272000/114

= 2385.96 (approx.)

Hence,

Cost Price of Saree = Rs 2385.96

Answer:

Solutions :

Given :

Marked price of Saree = Rs 3200

Discount = 15%

Profit = 14%

Find the Selling price of Saree :

S.P = M.P - discount % of M.P = 3200 - 15% of 3200

= 3200 - 0.15 × 3200 = 3200 - 480

= 2720

Find the cost price of Saree at 14% profit :

C.P (S.P x 100)/(100 + Profit)

= (2720 x 100)/(100 + 14)

= 272000/114

= 2385.96 (approx.)

Hence,

Cost Price of Saree = Rs 2385.96
