Solutions :-

Given :
Marked price of Saree = Rs 3200
Discount = 15%
Profit = 14%

Find the Selling price of Saree :-

S.P = M.P - discount % of M.P
= 3200 - 15% of 3200
= 3200 - 0.15 × 3200
= 3200 - 480
= 2720

Find the cost price of Saree at 14% profit :-

C.P = (S.P × 100)/(100 + Profit)
= (2720 × 100)/(100 + 14)
= 272000/114
= 2385.96 (approx.)

Hence,
Cost Price of Saree = Rs 2385.96

Now ,
Finding the Selling Price ( SP ) of the Saree :-

 = > 3200 - \frac{15}{100} \times 3200

 = > 3200 - 480 = 2720

Now ,
Finding the Cost Price ( CP ) of the Saree at the profit of 14% ;-

cost \: price = \frac{selling \: price \times 100}{100 + \: profit\%}

Then ,

 = > ( \frac{2700 \times 100}{100 + 14} )

 = > \frac{272000}{114}

 = > 2385.96 \: ( \: approx \: )
