find:-

The distance between the first and the last mango trees.

Now,

let, A,B,C,D,E and F are mango tree's..

means between these six tree's having a five gaps..

so, now for..

The distance between the first and the last mango trees.

= (gaps between tree's )

× (distance between two adjacent mango trees )

= 5 × 5/4

= 25/4 m or 6.25 m

Hence the distance between the first and the last mango trees is 25/4 m or 6.25 m.
