]Sarojini Naidu (13 February 1879-2 March 1949) was a renowned Indian poet and political activist. An ardent supporter of women’s emancipation, feminist, politician, civil rights, child prodigy, and anti-imperialist ideas, she was also a prominent personality in Indian independence campaign.
Her amazing art of poetry earned her the epithet of the “Nightingale of India”. She was imprisoned many times due to her involvement in independence and always followed Mahatma Gandhi’s footsteps.
