Answer:

240

Step-by-step explanation:

Sarthak Purchased 20 chair for 3200 and 400 for cartage so the Cost price will be 3600

Then he sold 15 chairs for 220 each = 15x 220 = 3300

Let the rest he sold for x rupees each

Profit% = (Selling price- Cost Price)/ Cost price x 100

So, (3300 + 5x -3600)/ 3600x 100 = 25

by solving the equation we get x= 240

Answer:

Rs. 240

Step-by-step explanation:

CP = 3200 + 400 = 3600

25% of 3600 = 25/100 x 3600 = 900

SP = 3600 + 900 = 4500

SP of the 15 chairs at Rs. 220 each = 15 x 220 = 3300

4500 - 3300 = 1200

SP of the remaining chairs = 1200/5 =Rs. 240
