want to substitute the value in the given equation, so we get
13=3q+4
13-4=3q
11=3q
11/3=q

a=bq+r
a=13
b=3
r=4
Putting the value
a=bq+r
13=3×q+4
3q+4=13
3q=13-4
3q=9
q=9÷3
q=3
