THE MAIN REASON IS CARBON

Saturated hydrocarbons contain less carbon content so there is a complete combustion of these compounds and hence, these compounds burn with a blue flame

In case of unsaturated hydrocarbons, due to their high carbon content and low hydrogen content, there is incomplete combustion.

Explanation:

Hey ❤

-Saturated hydrocarbons burn with a blue flame because these have high percentage of hydrogen..

-Unsaturated hydrocarbons on burning leave excess carbon deposits and burn with sooty flame

Hope it helps you ❤✌✌
