Let the cost of first fan be Rs.x;
cost of the other is Rs.(3605 - x)
Selling price of 1st fan at 15% profit is Rs.1.15x

Selling price of 2nd fan at 9% loss is Rs.0.91 x (3605 - x) Selling prices equal: 1.15x = 0.91x 0.91x + 1.15x =

0.91 x 3605 2.06x
= 0.91 x 3605 206x
= 91 x 3605 x
= 1592.50 and
y = 2012.50 Cost price of fans: Rs.1592.50 and Rs.2012.50
