- After 1866, British govt imposed several restrictions over forests.
- Forests were divided into minor forests & reserved forests.
- People were stopped from grass cutting, collecting wood, grazing cattles, etc.
- Therefore, Forest Satyagraha took place in Sangamner, Akole, Bilashi, Kalvan, etc.
