Satyagraha is a novel method of mass agitation

Mahatma Gandhi thinked that if your reason is true then violence isnt needed for fighting the oppressor but the revolutionaries and the oppressor must see and accept the truth

The oppressor must be shown that his policies are unjust and make him realize the truth peacefully

He believed that the dharma of non violence would unite all the Indians

He organised the following Satyagrahas

1. Champaran(1916)

2.kheda(1917)

3.ahemadabad(1918)

4.rowlatt Satyagraha (1919)
