what about the time period. ..
let we take the time period as t yrs for both cases
so for the fst case ...si= ptr/100= 30000*t*12/100=3600t..... (1)
and for the second case si= 20000*t*15/100= 3000t...... (2)
so total si= (3600+3000)t=6600t
now if t= 1 yr then si= 6600*1=6600 rs.
So he gets 6600 rs as interest
